It was probably just that the pair that I bought was defective. I couldn't get another pair through , because they were all sold out, but I did order another pair and am excited to get them. Once I washed them, they hugged my feet the way a quilt wraps around your body. The new shoes certainly have helped, but I haven't had a single blister nor soggy feet since wearing Feetures. My only regret is that I didn't purhcase them as a three pack from , as a single pair at retail cost me $11. However, my socks should last me forever, so they were definitely worth the cost.
